Cork Roll - It is a cylinder composed by granulated cork of small densities along with a binder. This cylinder is cut in a single sheet with thicknesses varying between 2 and 8 mm (excluding only 7 mm). They are commonly used for acoustic and thermal insulation, on interior walls or floors (especially for installing under a wood floor, ceramic floor tiles...)
The cork roll has a density of 200 Kgs/m3 (NP EN 1602:1998) and it has a resistance of 4.15 kg / cm2 (classified according to ISO 9149).
Regarding the sound absorption and according to EN ISO 20354:1993 it presents an acoustic coefficient ranging from 0.75 to 0.87.
The dimensional stability is according to NP EN 1604:1998; it presents a variation of only 0.05%. In terms of thermal conditions, it is comes out with a coefficient of 0.035 kcal / M.H C (according to ISO 8301:1991).
Regarding the tensile strength, the coefficient lies between BK.F> 90 N BR.TN. > 200 kPa (NP EN 12089:1997).
As far as fire is concerned it is classified as CL M4 (according to LNEC E 367-1991).
It does not emit dust or funghi, and in case of combustion it does not emit toxic gases.
